Refunds
7 days from purchase. By email. No reason required.
How to ask
Email support@ctrlflick.com from the address you bought with, within 7 days of the purchase. Say that you want a refund. That is the whole requirement — there is no form, and you will not be asked to justify it or talk to anyone first.
If you can, include your licence key or order number. If you cannot find either, the email address is enough to look it up.
What happens next
- The money goes back the way it came, to the account you paid from.
- How long it takes to appear is your payment provider’s to decide — usually a few working days.
- Your licence is withdrawn at the same time, and CtrlFlick Recon stops starting on the machine using it.
If you have renewed more than once
Refunding one renewal does not cancel your licence. It removes exactly the time that one payment bought, and everything else you have paid for stays. So a licence renewed three times, with the most recent renewal refunded, carries on running with that renewal’s time taken off the end.
Where a partial refund is agreed, the same fraction of time comes off, and the rounding goes in your favour.
After 7 days
The 7-day window is what we promise unconditionally, not the limit of what we will consider. If something is genuinely broken for you — it will not run on your machine, it does not do what this site says it does — say so and we will sort it out, whenever that is.
What the window means is that inside it you do not need a reason at all.
If you have asked before
The no-reason-required promise covers your first refund. If you have been refunded before and something has gone wrong again, ask anyway — a real problem is still worth putting right, and we would rather hear about it. What changes is that we may ask what happened.
Buying and refunding over and over is the one thing this policy is not for.
Chargebacks
Please email us first. Raising a dispute with your bank or payment provider revokes the licence automatically and immediately, and it takes weeks to resolve. Asking us directly is faster for you and cheaper for us, which is why the window above exists in the first place.
Your statutory rights
Nothing here reduces any right you have by law where you live. Where local consumer law gives you more than this page does, the law wins.
